THE GARDEN PATH

step one:
The first step in creating the garden path is to visualize it. To do this ask yourself these questions:

1. What is the purpose of the path?
2. Is it functional or decorative?
3. What are any unmovable structures that have to be incorporated?
4. Will you be able to dig deep enough to put in a solid foundation?
5. What is the look you are going for?
6. Does that look incorporate into the rest of your garden and home.
7. What equipment will you need?
8. How much manpower?
9. What materials will you use to create it?

Those are just a few many more will come up as you go along.
step two: is visiting as many gardens as possible to get the look and feel you would like for your own.
step three: is doing what I call a dry run and place stones or string along the future path to get a better visual of its functionality and feng shui of it.
